Commercial Service Agreement

Between Property Owner/Manager (referred to as “Client”) and CleanStone Pressure Washing (referred to as “Company”)

This document serves as a binding agreement between the Client and CleanStone Pressure Washing, including its agents, owners, employees, and subcontractors, for the provision of power washing services on commercial properties in exchange for payment.

Permissions

The Client, or their authorized agent, grants the Company permission to access the commercial property for the purpose of providing power washing services. The Client understands that no specific timeframe is guaranteed for completion, and multiple visits to the property may be necessary. The Company is also permitted to visit the property with or without prior notice to assess service requirements and conduct post-service inspections.

The Client agrees to provide access to water sources, ensuring outdoor spigots or water hookups are turned on and easily accessible. In the event of limited water pressure or capacity, the Client will coordinate with the Company to ensure adequate water supply for the job.

Acknowledgment of Risks & Liability Waiver

Power washing utilizes high pressure and chemical cleaning solutions to remove stubborn stains from exterior surfaces. While this technique ensures a thorough clean, it also comes with potential risks, especially to surfaces that may not be suitable for high-pressure cleaning. CleanStone Pressure Washing technicians are highly trained to minimize these risks and protect your investment.

However, damage may occur, particularly if the property has not been properly maintained or consists of low-quality materials. The Client is responsible for ensuring the property is properly maintained and that building materials are pressure-wash safe. Any pre-existing vulnerabilities, such as cracks, loose seals, or degraded materials, should be repaired prior to service to prevent water damage or structural issues.

On the day of service, the Company will conduct a thorough inspection of the property and provide the Client with documentation of any pre-existing conditions. If new damage is discovered during the cleaning process, the Company will pause work until the Client can review and acknowledge the situation.

The Client releases the Company from liability for injuries or damages caused by equipment placement, debris, or other potential hazards during the cleaning process.

Client Responsibilities on Service Day

  1. Ensure water sources are turned on and accessible.
  2. Ensure all exterior doors and windows are securely closed.
  3. Notify tenants, employees, or other relevant personnel about scheduled service to avoid interruptions.
  4. Clear the work areas of any sensitive materials, vehicles, or equipment that could obstruct the cleaning process or be affected by the water and cleaning solutions.

For optimal results, the Company recommends the Client:

  • Temporarily shut off power to exterior outlets, light fixtures, and any other electrical features near the work areas via the building’s breaker box.
  • Remove or open window screens to allow thorough cleaning and detergent application to windowsills and frames.
The Client should also inform the Company of any surfaces that should not be treated with alkaline or acidic detergents to prevent damage (see Exclusions below).

Exclusions

  • A $100 cancellation fee applies if notice is not provided at least 48 hours before the service date or if the Company cannot perform the work due to incomplete preparations as outlined above.
  • A $50 processing fee applies for any returned checks.
  • The Company is not responsible for water intrusion caused by faulty seals around windows, doors, or cracked foundations.
  • The Company is not liable for fogging or condensation effects that may occur in multi-pane windows with deteriorated seals.
  • Stain removal is not guaranteed, though the Company will make every effort to ensure satisfactory results.
  • The Client must notify the Company of any areas or surfaces that cannot be exposed to cleaning detergents. If no notice is provided, the Company is not liable for any resulting damage.

Media Release

The Client consents to the Company’s use of photos, videos, descriptions, and reviews of the property for marketing and advertising purposes, with no expectation of compensation. This includes the use of such materials on the Company’s website and social media platforms. The Client agrees not to pursue legal action regarding the display, reproduction, or distribution of these materials.

The Client also permits the Company to place a temporary marketing sign on the property for a period of up to seven days. Any damage to the sign will be billed to the Client.

Damage Liability

CleanStone Pressure Washing will only be liable for structural damage caused directly by operator error, gross negligence, or willful misconduct. Any damage claims must be reported in writing within three business days of service completion. The Company will be granted a 30-day period from the date of the claim to inspect and address the issue. CleanStone Pressure Washing reserves the right to either repair the damage or hire a contractor to perform the repairs.

Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of the first day’s service unless alternate arrangements have been made in advance. A 3% processing fee will be applied to credit card payments.

Collection of Outstanding Debt

In the event of non-payment, CleanStone Pressure Washing reserves the right to file a mechanic’s lien against the property. A formal notice of intent to file the lien will be sent 30 days after the payment due date. Interest will accrue at a rate of 2% per month beginning on the 31st day of non-payment. Legal fees incurred in the collection process will be added to the outstanding balance.

Agreement to Terms

By accepting an estimate, the Client acknowledges that the conditions and specifications outlined in this agreement are satisfactory and hereby accepted. The Client authorizes CleanStone Pressure Washing to carry out the work as specified and releases the Company from liability for property damage, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct. The Company is not responsible for damage to siding, windows, paint, or other structural elements if they are poorly maintained. Any resulting damage is the responsibility of the Client.
